INSTALLATION/SUPPORT/TEST
ENGINEERS
  
This individual will be responsible for the installation,
support and testing of ScanData products.
Job duties will include the following:
 |
Develop
and execute software test plans and test scripts for software product
releases |
|
|
Plan
and execute the analysis, inspection, and testing of our products to assure
high product quality and support software release readiness |
|
|
Develop
and maintain testing environment with detailed test plans, test data and
test cases based on software and system requirements |
|
|
Collaborate
with engineers to assure testing requirements are clear and well documented
prior to testing |
|
|
Design
test schedules according to project deadlines |
|
|
Discover,
isolate, document and communicate development defects, and work with
developers to reproduce and resolve them |
The successful candidate will possess the following:
|
|
An
associates’ degree |
|
|
1–3
years work experience in software testing, including test planning, test
design, test scripting and test execution |
|
|
Knowledge
of Microsoft SQL 2000/2005 |
|
|
Knowledge
of Microsoft operating systems, especially Windows 2003 and XP |
|
|
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills |
|
|
Excellent
interpersonal/ customer service skills |
|
|
Excellent
analytic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex
problems and propose practical solutions |
|
|
Strong
self-management and organizational skills |
|
|
Familiarity
with XML a plus |
