TECHNICAL WRITER/COMMUNICATOR
  
This individual will be involved in gathering technical
content and working with subject matter experts to create product documentation
and maintain existing technical, functional, product, procedural and sales
documents.
Job duties will include
the following:
 |
Act as
a point of contact for application-level issues |
 |
Develop, write, and maintain technical product documentation, along with
supporting materials relating to software packages |
 |
Prepare
documents following standard guidelines for technical publications |
 |
May act
as a team lead |
The successful candidate will possess the following:
 |
A BA/BS
in Information Technology, Business, English or related field |
 |
An
understanding of project management principles |
 |
A
proven track record of creating effective, clear, and concise
documentation |
 |
Ability
to gather information from multiple sources into coherent content |
 |
Ability
to identify and write for multiple audiences |
 |
Ability
to meet deadlines and project goals |
 |
Ability
to prioritize responsibilities and work independently |
 |
Ability
to work effectively as a member of a team |
 |
Knowledge of transportation and or warehouse management environment a
plus |
