TECHNICAL WRITER/COMMUNICATOR

 

 

This individual will be involved in gathering technical content and working with subject matter experts to create product documentation and maintain existing technical, functional, product, procedural and sales documents. 

 

Job duties will include the following:

 

bullet

Act as a point of contact for application-level issues

bullet

Develop, write, and maintain technical product documentation, along with supporting materials relating to software packages

bullet

Prepare documents following standard guidelines for technical publications

bullet

May act as a team lead

 

  The successful candidate will possess the following:

 

bullet

A BA/BS in Information Technology, Business, English or related field

bullet

An understanding of project management principles

bullet

A proven track record of creating effective, clear, and concise documentation

bullet

Ability to gather information from multiple sources into coherent content

bullet

Ability to identify and write for multiple audiences

bullet

Ability to meet deadlines and project goals

bullet

Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work independently

bullet

Ability to work effectively as a member of a team

bullet

Knowledge of transportation and or warehouse management environment a plus
