Throughout the years, ScanData has learned to recognize the importance of providing traffic departments with easy-to-use, comprehensive tools for shipping and manifesting data configuration as well as carrier-billing reconciliation. Profitable transportation management rests solidly upon the ability of traffic departments to dynamically manage shipping and manifesting parameters as well as perform carrier reconciliation research. To provide traffic departments with this functionality, ScanData deploys Compliance Manager as part of every PTMS solution. ScanData's Shipment Confirmation Reconciliation Manager, SDS Rate Server, and SDS Zbox Server may optionally be included in an implementation if supported by the host. COMPLIANCE MANAGER Deployed as either a desktop or browser application, Compliance Manager allows traffic department personnel to manage shipping compliance and carrier configuration. Through this application, traffic managers set up and configure carriers and ship methods to be used in the facility. Compliance Manager allows for management of ship methods for parcel carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL), LTL’s, and consolidators. It also allows creation and management of system-specific carriers that can inherit properties of one or more standard carriers to fulfill unique shipping needs. Compliance Manager is the backbone of ScanData’s PTMS solution. During the Parameterization and Training phase of a project, ScanData personnel will work with your traffic department personnel and shipping administrators to translate your business’s shipping configurations into the proper configurations necessary to support carton processing in the ScanData system.
