SYSTEMS
ANALYST
This individual will assist in the research, design,
development, modification, testing, implementation, and documentation of new
software as well as maintain/enhance existing applications. Individual will also
interface with user representatives or project development personnel to define
the application functional requirements, or requested enhancements, or potential
solution to user problems with the application or system.
Job duties will include the following:

Working
directly and effectively with end-users, project managers, developers,
operations and other business areas to ensure designs meet business
requirements |
|
|
Providing
project leadership for specific projects as assigned |
|
|
Development
of complex business software utilizing various technologies |
|
|
Defining
information flow, program functions and data requirements |
|
|
Defining
test criteria, preparing and compiling base functionality test cases,
analyzing results, and validating the system |
The successful candidate will possess the following:
|
|
A degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience |
|
|
At
least 2 years experience in job offered or as Information Systems Analyst,
Business Information Analyst or related occupation with two (2) years
experience in the area of systems analysis and design with exposure to
Microsoft Windows 2003 and XP |
|
|
Knowledge
of Microsoft SQL 2000/2005 |
|
|
Experience
with Microsoft Visual C++/ Microsoft Visual Basic, .NET toolset, XML, ASP,
Crystal Reports, Transport Layer Communications, OLE DB,
Exchange |
|
|
Good
communication skills, a working knowledge of system
development life cycle methodologies, and strong teamwork skills |
|
|
MCSD
preferred |
|
|
Knowledge
of transportation and/or warehouse management environment a definite plus |
